Karachi – Changan Pakistan has officially launched the long-awaited Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG, bringing significant upgrades to its popular MPV lineup. This refreshed variant builds upon the original Karvaan's reputation for durability and practicality, offering better performance, improved safety, and modern features.

Exterior & Interior Enhancements

The new Karvaan features a styled exterior with smoked projector halogen headlamps, a chrome front grille, 14-inch alloy wheels, body-colored mirrors and door handles, fog lamps, and rain channels. Inside, it offers a premium feel with wooden accents on the dashboard and door trims, dual-tone finish, upgraded ergonomic headrests, a seven-seat layout, and refined seat comfort.

Convenience & Technology

Upgrades include a 5-inch MP5 infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a reverse camera, parking sensors, and rear charging ports—all aimed at enhancing driving convenience and passenger comfort.

Performance & Safety Improvements

Powered by a Euro-IV compliant 1.2L EA-12 DOHC engine with Multi-Point Fuel Injection, the Power Plus UG delivers around 96 hp and 119 Nm of torque. It's supported by a 5-speed manual transmission, MacPherson front suspension, and leaf-spring rear suspension Safety gets a boost with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, anti-theft alarm, seatbelts across all rows, and energy-absorbing steering.

The Karvaan Power Plus 1.2L UG enters the market at an ex-dealership price of PKR 3,299,000, with bookings open at a down payment of PKR 600,000. The deliveries are expected to begin in October 2025.
