The first-ever National Youth Games, which were scheduled to be held in Islamabad starting 7th September 2025, have been postponed due to recent floods and natural disasters affecting parts of the country.
The announcement was confirmed by Arif Saeed, President of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA). He stated that the decision was made in the best interest of the safety and well-being of the athletes. The new dates for the games will be announced soon.
The National Youth Games aim to provide a platform for young athletes aged 14 to 17 from across Pakistan to showcase their skills and contribute to the development of sports at the national level.
