Tehran: JI Chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman Meets Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian

Tehran: Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, held a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian at the Presidential Palace in Tehran.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed Pakistan-Iran relations, the Palestinian issue, and other global and regional matters.

The Iranian President expressed gratitude for the support shown by the Pakistani people, government, and Jamaat-e-Islami during the recent Israeli conflict. He said, Iran has given a strong response to Israeli aggression, and the Pakistani nation also deserves congratulations on this victory.

President Pezeshkian added that some Western countries’ hostile approach toward Iran stems from Tehran’s opposition to Israeli actions in Palestine. He emphasized that Iran remains steadfast in its position and will continue to provide moral and diplomatic support to the Palestinian people.

He further stated, The existence of Israel is a threat to peace in the entire Islamic world. Pakistan and Iran have grown closer following the conflict with Israel, and both Islamic brotherly nations will continue efforts for the prosperity of the Ummah and their people.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman highlighted that his visit to Iran reflects solidarity with the Iranian people and government. He added, The entire Pakistani nation stands with our Iranian brothers. Jamaat-e-Islami will continue to play its role in promoting Pakistan-Iran relations and Islamic unity.

The Jamaat-e-Islami delegation also included Director of Foreign Affairs Asif Luqman Qazi and Special Assistant Dr. Sami-ul-Haq Sherpao. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman appreciated Tehran’s support for Pakistan on Kashmir and other regional issues, urging both nations to overlook minor differences and move forward for peace, economic growth, and the unity of the Ummah.
