The Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day was commemorated in Islamabad with a dignified ceremony organized by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), attended as the chief guest.
On arrival, he was received by Turkish Chargé d’Affaires Berk ECE. The event brought together senior military and civilian officials, diplomats, media representatives, and members of civil society, reflecting the strong support for the Pakistan-Türkiye brotherhood.
Speaking on the occasion, General Mirza congratulated the people, leadership, and armed forces of Türkiye on their national day. He highlighted the deep-rooted strategic and fraternal relations between the two countries, founded on mutual respect, trust, and shared values. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Türkiye in defense, diplomacy, and regional peace.
The ceremony underscored the historic ties and unwavering partnership between the two brotherly nations.
