Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur held a two-hour long meeting with party founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Monday, party sources confirmed.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the country’s political situation, PTI’s internal strategy, and the way forward amid ongoing challenges. Key issues related to governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, coordination with the party’s central leadership, and upcoming organizational matters were also reportedly on the agenda.
Party insiders said Imran Khan gave guidelines on strengthening PTI’s political campaign and emphasized unity among party ranks. He also directed Gandapur to ensure that provincial governance reflects the party’s vision despite mounting external pressures.
The meeting comes at a time when PTI faces heightened political and legal challenges, while its leadership remains under scrutiny. Analysts say the extended interaction highlights Khan’s continued influence in guiding PTI’s policies and decision-making, even while incarcerated.
Official statements from PTI regarding the detailed outcome of the meeting are expected in the coming days.
