Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly rejected reports of accepting any exile deal, asserting that he will continue his political struggle from within Pakistan.
In a statement today, Khan said that the much-debated Toshakhana case — which led to his conviction and imprisonment — has “completely collapsed” in the courts. He claimed that the case was politically motivated and designed to push him out of the political arena.
The PTI founder reaffirmed his stance that he would neither leave the country nor compromise on his principles. “I have been offered exile multiple times, but I will never abandon my people,” he said.
Political observers suggest that Khan’s declaration could energize his supporters, who have been actively demanding his release and restoration of political rights. The development also adds a new twist to Pakistan’s already charged political atmosphere.
