A new wave of Israeli airstrikes has left Gaza completely cut off, with both internet and telephone services shut down across the besieged territory.

Telecommunication authorities confirmed on Thursday that the strikes damaged key infrastructure, disrupting all means of communication for millions of residents. Hospitals, emergency services, and humanitarian agencies reported severe difficulties in coordinating relief efforts as a result of the blackout.

Eyewitnesses described the situation as “total isolation,” with families unable to contact loved ones and journalists struggling to transmit updates from inside Gaza.

International organizations, including the United Nations and humanitarian aid groups, expressed concern over the communication blackout, warning that the lack of connectivity could worsen the humanitarian crisis.

The strikes come amid an escalation in hostilities that has already claimed hundreds of lives, deepening fears of further civilian suffering in the region.
