Pakistan commenced their Asia Cup 2025 campaign with a commanding 93-run victory over Oman at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Batting first, Pakistan posted a total of 160/7, with wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris leading the charge with a fluent 66 runs off 43 balls. His innings provided the foundation for Pakistan's total, supported by Farhan's 29 runs.
In response, Oman struggled against Pakistan's disciplined bowling attack. Spinners Sufiyan Muqeem (2/7), Saim Ayub (2/8), and Faheem Ashraf (2/6) wreaked havoc, dismantling Oman's batting lineup. Despite a valiant 27-run effort from Hammad Mirza, Oman was bowled out for just 67 runs, handing Pakistan a comprehensive victory.
This win not only boosts Pakistan's confidence ahead of their upcoming match against India but also highlights the team's balanced performance in both batting and bowling departments.
