In their opening match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, Bangladesh Women defeated Pakistan Women by 7 wickets in a convincing display of cricket

Batting first, Pakistan were bowled out for 129 runs in 38.3 overs. Bangladesh’s bowlers applied pressure throughout, with spinner Shorna Akter among the standout performers.
