Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir chairs 272nd Corps Commanders Conference

Rawalpindi: Today, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir presided over the 272nd Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

The meeting opened with prayers for the martyrs of recent terrorist attacks attributed to foreign-backed proxies.

Munir praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their resilience in counterterrorism operations and their support to civil authorities in flood relief efforts. 

During the conference, commanders reviewed ongoing counterterrorism operations, assessed evolving security challenges, and reaffirmed that the military is fully prepared to respond to threats from within and outside the country.

In closing, Field Marshal Munir directed commanders to uphold high standards of readiness, discipline, and innovation, expressing confidence in the Pakistan Army’s capability across conventional, hybrid, and asymmetric domains.
