Israeli soldiers in Gaza begin packing supplies

A video released by Israeli media shows soldiers at a military camp in Gaza packing their equipment, signaling the beginning of a gradual withdrawal. According to reports, this move came just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement.

Israeli media stated that in the first phase, the army’s logistic units have been pulled back from areas around Gaza City. These units had been supporting divisions engaged in operations across the region for the past month. Military officials confirmed that combat units will also be withdrawn gradually in the coming days.

Sources quoted by Israeli outlets suggested that Hamas is expected to regain administrative control over major urban centers in Gaza once the Israeli withdrawal is complete.
