Renowned Bollywood actor Satish Shah passed away at the age of 74 in Mumbai, after a prolonged battle with kidney disease. According to Indian media reports, the veteran actor had been undergoing treatment at a local hospital, where he recently underwent a kidney transplant, but unfortunately could not recover.
Shah’s manager confirmed his death, stating that the actor’s body remains at the hospital, and his last rites will be performed tomorrow (Sunday). The news has left the Indian film fraternity and fans deeply saddened.
Prominent comedian Johnny Lever expressed his grief on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), remembering Satish Shah as a “true gem of Indian cinema” whose humor and warmth touched millions.
