Israeli Army Orders Immediate Destruction of Gaza Tunnels Amid Escalating Attacks

The Israeli military chief has issued orders for the immediate destruction of all tunnels in Gaza, citing alleged covert activities against Israeli forces.

In a statement, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir directed the army to attack and neutralize all tunnels as quickly as possible, claiming they were being used for secret operations targeting Israel.

Meanwhile, violations of the ceasefire by Israeli forces continue across Gaza. In the Shujaiya neighborhood, an Israeli drone strike severely injured a child, underscoring the ongoing impact on civilians.

Operations have also persisted in the West Bank, where Israeli forces killed two Palestinians during raids in residential areas.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) warned that violence in the West Bank is increasing at an alarming rate, reporting over 260 incidents in October alone, including shootings, home raids, and other military actions.

The recent orders from the Israeli army signal a further escalation in the Gaza conflict, raising concerns among international observers about the humanitarian situation and civilian casualties.
