Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has hailed Pakistan’s Under-19 Asia Cup victory as a historic achievement and a moment of pride for the entire nation, praising the team’s discipline, teamwork, and fighting spirit.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), members of the Pakistan Under-19 cricket team met Field Marshal Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. During the meeting, the Field Marshal congratulated the players, team management, and officials on winning the prestigious continental title.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said the dedication and hard work of the young cricketers reflected the immense potential of Pakistan’s youth. He urged the players to maintain high professional standards and serve as ambassadors of Pakistan both on and off the field.
Highlighting the importance of youth in nation-building, he said Pakistan’s future is closely linked to its young generation. Their energy, character, and commitment, he added, will shape the country’s global identity.
