Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has levelled serious allegations against officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), accusing them of torture, verbal abuse, threats, and demanding an enormous bribe during his 100-day detention.
In a video statement, Ducky Bhai revealed disturbing details of his custody. He stated that he was brought before Additional Director Sarfaraz Chaudhary during interrogation, who allegedly used insulting language and slapped him multiple times.
According to Ducky Bhai, Sarfaraz Chaudhary repeatedly questioned his sources of income and verbally abused him throughout the investigation. “I told him my income comes from YouTube and that I have 8 million subscribers, but he kept accusing me of corrupting the youth. I was slapped so many times that I lost count,” he claimed.
He further alleged that some NCCIA officials offered to settle his case in exchange for 700 to 800 million rupees — an amount he said he could not possibly pay.
Ducky Bhai also claimed that officials confiscated $326,000 from him, forced him to open a Binance account, made him halt trading, converted his funds into dollars, and then allegedly transferred the money into their personal accounts.
He stated that from the very first day of his detention, he felt helpless despite fully cooperating with the authorities. At one point, he pleaded with an acquaintance he saw during custody to request the guards to beat him less.
So far, NCCIA has not issued an official response to these allegations.
It is worth noting that former NCCIA Lahore Additional Director Sarfaraz Chaudhary was removed from his post in September amid multiple controversies, including allegations of misconduct involving Ducky Bhai.
Ducky Bhai had been arrested in August this year from Lahore Airport on accusations of promoting gambling and betting applications through his online platform. The Lahore High Court approved his bail on November 25, but his release faced repeated delays.
