Islamabad (January 15, 2026): The federal government has announced petroleum product prices for the next 15 days, from January 16 to January 31, keeping fuel rates unchanged across the country.
According to an official notification issued by the government, the prices of major petroleum products will remain the same for the upcoming fortnight. The decision will take effect after midnight tonight.
As per the notification, petrol will continue to be sold at Rs253.17 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been maintained at Rs257.08 per liter.
It is worth recalling that on December 31, 2025, the government had announced a significant reduction in fuel prices as a New Year relief measure for the public. At that time, the price of petrol was reduced by Rs10.28 per liter, bringing it down to the current rate of Rs253.17, while high-speed diesel was cut by Rs8.57 per liter to Rs257.08.
Additionally, the price of kerosene oil was reduced by Rs9.66 per liter, lowering it to Rs170.88 per liter.
The government stated that the decision to maintain current prices was taken after reviewing international oil market trends and domestic economic conditions.
