Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed Pakistan’s full cooperation and solidarity with Saudi Arabia on regional developments during a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who also conveyed his desire to undertake an official visit to Pakistan next year.
According to a spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, the two leaders held a warm and cordial telephone call in which Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his deep respect and best wishes for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The prime minister thanked the Saudi crown prince for his continued affection, sincerity, and goodwill toward Pakistan. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the long-standing, fraternal ties that have reached new heights in recent months.
During the discussion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and current developments, emphasizing the importance of close coordination.
The prime minister stressed the need for unity and harmony within the Muslim Ummah in the face of multiple challenges, reiterating Pakistan’s complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He underlined that dialogue and diplomacy remain essential for ensuring lasting regional peace and stability.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman thanked the prime minister for the call and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s desire to further enhance cooperation with Pakistan across all areas of mutual interest.
He also expressed his keen interest in paying an official visit to Pakistan next year, underscoring the strong and growing partnership between the two brotherly countries.
