Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Appeals for National Unity in Punjab Flood Relief Efforts

Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, has expressed deep concern over the devastating floods that have severely affected northern areas and Punjab. Speaking about the situation, he stressed the urgent need for coordinated efforts to support flood victims.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman stated that Al-Khidmat Foundation has already launched large-scale relief operations in the affected areas, providing food, shelter, and essential supplies to those in need. He further urged the public to extend their support and join hands with relief teams to ease the suffering of families caught in the disaster.

He also appealed to political parties to set aside their differences and contribute actively towards helping the flood victims. “This is not a time for division but for unity,” he remarked, adding that serving humanity in times of crisis should be the foremost priority.

Hafiz Naeem concluded by encouraging citizens, volunteers, and social workers to come forward and assist in relief efforts, assuring that Jamaat-e-Islami and Al-Khidmat Foundation will continue their mission until the situation stabilizes.
