JI Chief Meets Iranian FM to Discuss Gaza Crisis, Strengthen Pakistan-Iran Ties


 TEHRAN: Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman met with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in Tehran today to deliberate on the escalating crisis in Gaza. The meeting centered on regional cooperation, mutual support for Palestine, and reinforcing diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Iran.


Hafiz Naeem emphasized that both nations must transcend sectarian differences to maintain unity in the face of shared challenges. "Our two nations are like one soul in two bodies," he remarked, underlining Pakistan’s solidarity with Iran on key regional issues.


FM Araghchi lauded Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestine and praised JI’s active role in organizing solidarity demonstrations. He reaffirmed the ideological connection between Maulana Maududi and Imam Khomeini, citing it as a foundation for deep-rooted Pakistan-Iran relations.


Hafiz Naeem called for the liberation of Pakistan’s foreign policy from external pressure, urging a renewed chapter of cooperation, peace, and economic progress between the two neighboring countries.
