In a shocking development, a Brazilian billionaire has named football superstar Neymar Jr. as the sole heir to his entire estate worth nearly $1 billion.
According to reports, the billionaire was 31 years old, unmarried, and had no children. His will was officially registered in Porto Alegre earlier this year. Despite never meeting Neymar personally, the businessman admired the player’s career, family values, and strong bond with his father, which reminded him of his own late father.
The massive inheritance includes properties, investments, and company shares, making Neymar the legal beneficiary. However, under Brazilian law, such wills can face legal challenges, especially from potential relatives.
Neymar, already among the world’s richest athletes, has not yet issued any public statement regarding the inheritance.
