House Democrats on Monday released a controversial page from Jeffrey Epstein’s “birthday book,” which appears to contain a suggestive note signed by then–businessman Donald Trump. The President has strongly denied writing or signing the note, calling it “fake.”

The Letter

The document, dated 2003, features a drawing of a nude female silhouette with a typed birthday message:
“A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — may every day be another wonderful secret.”
The note is signed only with the name “Donald.”

Trump’s Denial

President Trump quickly rejected the authenticity of the letter.
“This is not my writing, these are not my words. I don’t draw pictures,” he told reporters, calling the release a political stunt. The President has also filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, which first reported details of the alleged note.

Congressional Reaction

Representative Robert Garcia, a Democrat on the Oversight Committee, claimed the White House is attempting a “cover-up,” urging the release of all Epstein-related materials. Democrats say the disclosure forms part of a larger investigation into Epstein’s contacts, finances, and influence networks.

Wider Context

The release comes amid heightened scrutiny of Epstein’s ties with political and business leaders. Analysts note that, regardless of authenticity, the publication of such documents adds to the controversy surrounding Trump’s past associations and is likely to fuel partisan battles in Washington.
