Pakistani squash rising star Noor Zaman has stormed into the final of the Nash Cup in Canada after a dominant performance in the semifinal.
The 21-year-old Zaman, seeded number five in the tournament, defeated Colombia’s Matias Knudsen in straight sets (11-3, 12-10, 11-3) in just 28 minutes, showcasing poise and control under pressure.
Zaman never appeared in serious trouble, commanding rallies, forcing errors, and closing out each game decisively. His performance signals his rise as one of Pakistan’s brightest young talents in squash.
In the other semi, compatriot Ashab Irfan fell to Egypt’s Moustafa Elsirty (11-5, 11-3, 5-11, 11-2) and thus missed the chance to join Zaman in the final
