Islamabad: President of Pakistan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic loss of precious lives in a suicide blast that occurred today.
In their separate condolence messages, both leaders strongly condemned the cowardly act of terrorism, terming it a brutal attempt to destabilize peace and spread fear among the people. They extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The President reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to continue the fight against terrorism until the menace is completely eradicated. He emphasized that sacrifices of innocent citizens will not go in vain.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the concerned authorities to provide the best possible medical treatment to those injured in the blast. He also assured that the government stands with the affected families in this hour of grief and vowed that perpetrators of such heinous acts would be brought to justice.
The leaders reaffirmed that the nation remains united against terrorism and will never be deterred by such cowardly attacks.
