Karachi: The United States Consul General in Karachi, Charles Goodman, paid a visit today to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.
During his visit, Charles Goodman laid a floral wreath at the grave of Quaid-e-Azam to pay tribute to his leadership and vision. He also recorded his remarks in the visitors’ book, expressing deep respect for Jinnah’s role in creating Pakistan and highlighting his principles of unity, faith, and discipline.
Speaking on the occasion, the Consul General emphasized the importance of Jinnah’s legacy, stating that his ideals remain relevant for building peace, tolerance, and mutual respect in the modern world. He noted that Pakistan and the United States share a long-standing relationship and expressed hope for further strengthening bilateral ties in areas such as education, trade, and cultural exchange.
Goodman also appreciated the architectural significance of the mausoleum and praised the efforts to preserve this national heritage site.
The visit reflects the U.S. mission’s ongoing engagement with the people of Pakistan and acknowledgment of the historic contributions of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
