The Sindh government has approved the operation of 500 electric buses in Karachi and Hyderabad as part of efforts to modernize public transport. The decision was made during a meeting of the Public-Private Partnership Policy Board, chaired by the Chief Minister of Sindh. Provincial ministers Sharjeel Inam Memon and Nasir Hussain Shah, along with board members and relevant officials, attended the session.
The meeting further decided to outsource radiology and diagnostic lab services at Chandka Hospital and Jinnah Hospital, aiming to improve efficiency and service delivery in healthcare facilities across the province.
