Chinese media, citing a defense website, said the aircraft at the Malan base has a wingspan of about 42 meters, which is rare for an unmanned stealth aircraft of this size.

According to Chinese media, this size is comparable to the US stealth strategic bomber B-21 Raider, which is currently under development.

The true purpose of the new Chinese drone is still unclear, with some military experts saying it is a large unmanned combat aircraft (UCAV) designed for offensive operations, while others believe it is an unmanned stealth bomber.

Chinese military analyst Chen Shi said on Shenzhen TV last month that the aircraft seen at Malan base appeared to be a "medium-range strategic bomber."
