Sindh Home Minister Zia Lanjar said that the police and Rangers were given a policy that there should be peace in the area, the bandits should lay down their arms, this work would not have been possible without the heads of the communities, those who surrendered would get the opportunity to become good citizens.
He made it clear that the bandits who surrender will have to face the law, the government wants the bandits to become peaceful citizens, there will be no extrajudicial killings after today, those who surrender will be treated according to the law.
The Sindh Home Minister also said that the Sindh government wants to provide jobs and Benazir Income Support Program cards to the people of Kachha, education to children and construction of roads in the Kachha area.
The Sindh IG said that the law and order situation is improving, the Ghotki Kachha area has not been cleared yet, the honey trap operations that started in 2012 are still ongoing.
