He was in critical condition for 11 days after a motorcycle accident near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh on September 27, 2025. despite extensive medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on October 8, 2025, at Fortis Hospital in Mohali
Rajvir Jawanda was known for his soulful voice and popular songs such as "Sardaari," "Kangani," and "Do Ni Sajna". he also appeared in Punjabi films like "Subedar Joginder Singh" and "Jind Jaan"
His untimely death has left fans and the Punjabi music industry in mourning. the funeral is scheduled for October 9, 2025, in his native village, Pona, Ludhiana. Rajvir Jawanda is survived by his wife and two children. his passing marks a significant loss to the Punjabi music community
