Instagram Threads has rolled out a new feature allowing users to engage in group messaging, according to international news agencies. The newly launched feature enables group chats to include up to 50 participants, expanding the platform’s communication capabilities.
Meta’s subsidiary platform officially launched the group chat feature globally on Wednesday. Users aged 18 and above can share text posts, videos, GIFs, and emojis within these group conversations, enhancing interaction and engagement among Threads users.
This update marks a significant step in Instagram Threads’ effort to strengthen its messaging functions and compete with other social platforms offering group communication features.
