Pakistan’s superstar Mahira Khan has revealed that she intends to pass down her Dua-e-Khair ceremony outfit to her future daughter-in-law. In a recent viral interview clip, Mahira shared heartfelt details about her wedding events, her mother’s wishes, and the emotional value attached to her bridal attire.
The actress recalled that her wedding festivities began with a Dua-e-Khair (prayer ceremony) arranged at home on her mother’s request, led by renowned poet Zehra Nigah. Mahira added that her outfit for the occasion was designed by Umar Sayeed in a traditional Hyderabadi style. “It was a simple yet beautiful moment — light makeup, floral jewelry, and a braided hairstyle,” she said.
Expressing her affection for the dress, Mahira shared, “This outfit is very close to my heart. I plan to give it to my daughter-in-law one day and tell her to take good care of it — it was made with a lot of love.”
Mahira Khan married businessman Salim Karim in October 2023. She has a son, Azlan, from her first marriage.
