Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President, Mohsin Naqvi, has denied reports suggesting he apologized to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding the Asia Cup 2025 final trophy incident.
In a statement, Naqvi emphasized, "Let me make it absolutely clear: I have done nothing wrong and I have never apologized to the BCCI nor will I ever do so." He criticized Indian media for spreading what he termed "fabricated propaganda" and reaffirmed his stance on the matter.
Following the final, where India defeated Pakistan to claim their ninth Asia Cup title, the Indian team declined to accept the trophy from Naqvi, citing strained geopolitical relations.
