Pakistan’s youth volleyball team advanced to the final of the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain after a thrilling 3-1 victory over Indonesia in the semifinals held at the Isa Sports Hall.


The match lasted one hour and 34 minutes, showcasing intense rallies and competitive spirit from both sides. Indonesia took the first set 25-22, but Pakistan staged a strong comeback to win the next three consecutive sets — 25-13, 25-19, and 26-24 — securing their place in the gold medal match.


While Indonesia started with early dominance, Pakistan’s players displayed remarkable teamwork, powerful serves, and strategic blocking to turn the game in their favor. The fourth set saw fierce resistance from the Indonesian squad, but Pakistan held firm to clinch the match.


Pakistan will now face Iran in the final, with the Pakistan Volleyball Federation expressing confidence that the young team can bring home the gold medal.
