Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has strongly criticized entertainment news pages for sharing old videos without context, misleading the public by presenting them as recent events.
Taking to his Instagram story on Tuesday, Asim Azhar expressed disappointment over what he called irresponsible reporting by some entertainment platforms. “With all due respect, I want to address a few entertainment pages that are misleading people by posting old videos. I genuinely hope for better journalism,” the singer wrote.
He emphasized that pages with large followings carry a responsibility to provide accurate information. “Please don’t spread old videos without proper context. Do some research first. And if this is being done deliberately just for likes and reach, then God help you,” he added.
Concluding on a humorous note, Asim said, “It’s not like I’m not giving you enough content already—what’s the need for this?”
It’s worth mentioning that Asim Azhar recently announced his debut independent album titled ‘Asim Ali’, which marks a new chapter in his music career. Over the past few months, he has also been a frequent subject of social media discussions and speculation about his personal life.
