Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has achieved another major milestone, surpassing India’s former captain Rohit Sharma to become the highest run-scorer in T20 Internationals.
Babar reached this historic feat during the second T20 match against South Africa in Lahore, where he scored the nine runs needed to break Rohit Sharma’s long-standing record. Prior to this, Rohit had accumulated 4,231 runs in 159 T20I matches — a mark now overtaken by the Pakistani skipper.
