Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has filed a new lawsuit against his ex-wife Angelina Jolie over a property dispute linked to their once jointly owned French vineyard, Château Miraval.

According to legal documents submitted by Pitt’s legal team, the dispute centers around Jolie’s 2021 sale of her share in the winery — a move Pitt claims was made without proper consultation. The submitted documents reportedly include communications between Jolie’s representatives and other parties involved in the sale, intended to demonstrate the circumstances under which Jolie transferred her ownership stake.

Château Miraval, located in southern France, was purchased jointly by Pitt and Jolie during their marriage and became a valuable shared asset. However, disagreements over its management and sale have remained a major point of contention throughout their ongoing post-divorce legal battles.

The latest court filings suggest that Jolie’s decision to sell her share might have violated prior agreements between the two, reigniting a complex legal fight over ownership rights and decision-making authority. The specific details of the new evidence have not been made public, but they could significantly influence the direction of the ongoing case.

Both sides continue to assert their claims to the estate and its management. The court will now review the new evidence before determining the next legal steps in this long-running dispute.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who shared a decade-long relationship before marrying in 2014, separated two years later in 2016. The couple shares six children — Maddox (22), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (17), and twins Knox and Vivienne (15). Several of their children were adopted from underprivileged regions of Africa and Asia.
