According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the agreement was signed in Jeddah by Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Al-Mashat and Pakistan’s Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs Dr. Syed Atta-ur-Rehman.

The signing ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, Director General Hajj Jeddah Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Hajj Makkah Azizullah Khan, Director Hajj Madinah Ziaur Rehman, Deputy Secretary Hajj Policy Chaudhry Kashif Hussain, and representatives from the Private Hajj Operators Association (HOPE).

Dr. Syed Atta-ur-Rehman expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for its continued efforts to facilitate pilgrims, highlighting its dedication to hospitality and service excellence. He assured that, similar to last year, Pakistani pilgrims would receive high-quality services and improved logistical support during the 2026 Hajj season.

He further emphasized that the Ministry of Religious Affairs remains committed to completing all arrangements for both government and private Hajj schemes efficiently and in full compliance with Saudi guidelines.
