Google Chrome has rolled out a revolutionary new feature called “Split View”, designed to transform the way users browse the web. The feature allows users to open and view two tabs side by side simultaneously, significantly improving multitasking and productivity.

According to Android Authority, the Split View feature has been in testing for several months and is now gradually being made available to users. While the concept may sound simple, it eliminates the need to open two separate browser windows or rely on third-party extensions — making multitasking smoother and more efficient.

With Split View, users can open two web pages in one window, adjust their size, switch their positions (left or right), and view both tabs concurrently. This makes it easier to compare data, write while researching, or browse multiple websites at once.

The feature is being rolled out in phases, meaning it may not yet appear for all Chrome users. To check availability, users can right-click on a Chrome tab and look for the option “New Split View with Current Tab.”

If it doesn’t appear, users can manually enable the feature by visiting Chrome Flags. Simply type chrome://flags/#side-by-side into the address bar, press Enter, enable the Split View option, and click Relaunch. Once Chrome restarts, the feature should be available for use.

With just a few clicks, Chrome users can now enjoy a dual-tab browsing experience that promises to make web navigation faster, simpler, and more intuitive.
