Pakistan has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli military strikes on innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, calling the assaults a blatant violation of international law and recently agreed peace commitments.
In a statement on Sunday, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said the Israeli attacks have resulted in the tragic deaths and injuries of children and women, adding that such aggression reflects Israel’s disregard for global humanitarian norms.
He stressed that the strikes are aimed at undermining regional peace efforts, noting that they constitute an open violation of the Sharm El-Sheikh peace agreement.
The spokesperson urged the international community to take immediate notice of Israel’s actions and intervene to prevent further civilian casualties.
He further emphasized the need for urgent measures to uphold international human rights and humanitarian law, reiterating Pakistan’s principled stance in support of a free, sovereign, and contiguous Palestinian state with independent borders.
