U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will travel to China next April, following what he described as a “very positive and constructive” conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The discussion focused on bilateral ties and key international issues.

According to President Trump, the two leaders spoke at length about global developments, including the Russia–Ukraine conflict, as well as major economic and trade matters. Topics such as fentanyl, soybean trade, and farm products were highlighted as central points of the conversation.

Trump also revealed that President Xi has accepted his invitation to visit the United States next year, a move expected to further strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between the two major powers.

The U.S. president emphasized that his upcoming trip aims to enhance bilateral cooperation and reinforce economic and trade partnerships at the global level. He expressed confidence that the visit will result in meaningful agreements and new collaborative initiatives beneficial to both nations.

Political analysts and foreign policy experts say the scheduled visit could significantly influence global geopolitics and international economic relations. They note that increased cooperation—particularly in trade, security, and strategic planning—may shape the direction of U.S.–China relations in the coming years.
