During his visit to the Gujranwala and Sialkot Garrisons, the Field Marshal was given a comprehensive briefing on the formations’ operational preparedness and key measures taken to further strengthen combat capability. He also observed field training exercises and state-of-the-art simulator-based training facilities, praising the formations for maintaining high professional standards and overall operational readiness.
Highlighting the importance of integrating modern technology, Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that contemporary warfare demands agility, precision, enhanced situational awareness, and timely decision-making. He stressed that the Pakistan Army continues to adapt to modern combat requirements to stay ahead of emerging threats.
Addressing officers and troops, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces commended their high morale, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to national security. He underlined the significance of rigorous, mission-oriented training, noting that the Army remains prepared to counter hybrid warfare, extremist ideologies, and divisive elements aimed at undermining national stability.
Upon his arrival in Gujranwala, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
