Iran on Sunday issued a strong warning to US President Donald Trump, stating that any act of American aggression would be met with a decisive and forceful response.

Addressing the Iranian parliament, Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said that if the United States launches any kind of attack on Iran, the country will retaliate by targeting Israel and US military bases located across the region, describing them as “legitimate targets.”

The warning comes amid heightened regional tensions, with Israel placed on high alert due to fears of potential US involvement in Iran. According to international news agencies, Israeli security institutions have grown increasingly concerned following repeated threats by President Trump and his warnings to the Iranian government against using force on protesters.

President Trump, in his latest remarks, claimed that Iran is witnessing an unprecedented push toward freedom. In a message shared on social media, he said the United States is ready to support Iranian protesters.

Earlier, Trump had stated that the US would intervene if killings occurred in Iran, clarifying that intervention does not necessarily mean deploying troops on Iranian soil. He added that Washington is closely monitoring the situation, claiming that in some Iranian cities, protesters appear to have taken control.

Trump further accused the Iranian government of mistreating its people for years, stating that current unrest is a consequence of those actions. The escalating rhetoric from both sides has further raised concerns of instability and potential conflict in the region.
