Saudi authorities have carried out the death sentence of a Pakistani national following his conviction in a drug smuggling case, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Interior confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Interior, the Pakistani citizen, identified as Naqab Khan, was arrested in Saudi Arabia for attempting to smuggle narcotics into the country. Security forces detained the suspect during an operation aimed at curbing drug trafficking.

The ministry stated that during the investigation process, the charges against the accused were proven through evidence and his own confessional statement. Officials said the inquiry was conducted in accordance with Saudi law.

Following the completion of legal proceedings, the accused was presented before a competent court. The court reviewed the investigation reports and the confession submitted by authorities.

Based on the available evidence, the court found Naqab Khan guilty of drug smuggling and sentenced him to death. The verdict was later upheld through the judicial process.
