Pakistan’s most popular digital creator and YouTuber, Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, has described the three months he spent in jail as the most difficult yet defining phase of his life, revealing that the experience completely changed his mindset, lifestyle, and religious commitment.
With more than 9 million subscribers, Ducky Bhai is currently one of Pakistan’s most-followed YouTubers. In a recent exclusive interview, he opened up about his arrest by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the freezing of his bank accounts, and the confiscation of his funds, which led to three months of incarceration.
He said the time behind bars was both mentally and physically exhausting but ultimately proved to be a turning point in his life. Reflecting on his spiritual transformation, Ducky Bhai admitted that before his arrest he was negligent in offering prayers. However, he stated that since the day of his arrest, he has not missed a single prayer.
“This phase brought me closer to Allah,” he said. “I did not remember Allah during my good days. That was my selfishness. Perhaps Allah wanted me to change.”
Speaking about health and food in jail, Ducky Bhai said the simple diet of wheat bread and basic meals resulted in noticeable weight loss, but it also had a positive impact on his physical well-being. Although he craved fast food at times, the simplicity of prison life made him feel healthier overall.
Addressing his views on social media fame, he said controversies did not affect him earlier, but his perspective has now changed. He added that he no longer views social media the same way and continues content creation mainly for his fans, who supported him and waited for his return.
Concluding the interview, Ducky Bhai advised fellow YouTubers to be cautious and responsible. He emphasized that mistakes can happen to anyone, but creators should thoroughly review their content before uploading, warning that a single wrong move on the internet can change a person’s life forever.
