Pakistan’s security forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation in the Qalat district of Balochistan, killing four terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna-e-Hindustan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
According to ISPR, the operation was launched after receiving credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants involved in terrorist activities in the area. During the ensuing exchange, security forces effectively neutralized four terrorists. A cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession, indicating their involvement in ongoing and planned acts of terrorism.
The military’s media wing said the operation was conducted with precision and professionalism, reaffirming the resolve of Pakistan’s security forces to eliminate all threats to national security and stability.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for the successful operation, paying tribute to their courage and dedication in safeguarding the country. He reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
