Lahore: The Lahore court has approved a five-day extension of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman—famously known as Ducky Bhai—remand in the case involving his alleged promotion of illegal gambling apps. The additional custody period was granted to allow authorities to complete their interrogation.
The case stems from a First Information Report filed on August 17, accusing Rehman of endorsing unregistered online betting platforms such as Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game—potentially violating sections of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA 2016) and relevant Pakistan Penal Code provisions.
Judicial proceedings will resume on August 28, when Rehman is expected to be brought before the court again.
