Lahore: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, held a telephonic conversation today with Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Balochistan National Party leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
During the call, Hafiz Naeem inquired about their well-being and expressed deep sorrow over the recent acts of terrorism in Balochistan that claimed innocent lives. He strongly condemned the incidents and conveyed his condolences over the loss.
The JI leader stressed that ensuring peace and protecting the lives of citizens is the foremost responsibility of the government. He underlined that terrorism and unrest in Balochistan, as well as other parts of the country, must be addressed through dialogue and collective efforts.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman reiterated Jamaat-e-Islami’s stance on safeguarding people’s rights and emphasized that national issues, including those of Balochistan, can only be resolved through consensus and meaningful consultation.
