Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has firmly denied allegations linking Israel to the recent shooting incident involving American conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

In a video statement released on Monday, Netanyahu dismissed speculation circulating on international media and social platforms, calling it “baseless and politically motivated.” He emphasized that Israel had no role in the attack and urged people to refrain from spreading “false narratives that only serve to fuel division.”

Netanyahu further highlighted Israel’s strong alliance with the United States, saying such incidents should not be exploited to damage bilateral relations. “Israel values its ties with the American people and leadership. Any attempt to connect Israel with this tragedy is entirely false,” he stated.

The remarks came amid growing debate online, with some commentators questioning the motives behind the attack and others demanding an impartial investigation. U.S. law enforcement authorities have yet to release a detailed report on the shooter’s background and possible motives.

The Israeli government’s clarification is seen as an attempt to prevent further diplomatic fallout and to reaffirm its position against politically motivated violence
