Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Bannu on Saturday to inquire about the health of soldiers injured during recent counter-terrorism operations.


The prime minister and army chief met with the wounded personnel, commended their courage, and assured them of the nation’s unwavering support. Shehbaz Sharif praised the sacrifices of the armed forces in safeguarding Pakistan’s security and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to providing all possible assistance to the families of those serving on the front lines.


Field Marshal Asim Munir lauded the bravery and resilience of the soldiers, emphasizing that their sacrifices are a source of pride for the entire nation. He reiterated that the Pakistan Army will continue its mission until the menace of terrorism is completely eliminated.


During the visit, medical staff briefed the dignitaries on the condition of the injured soldiers and the treatment being provided. The prime minister directed that the best possible medical care and rehabilitation facilities be ensured for the injured.


The visit reflects the civil-military leadership’s joint resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in their fight against terrorism and their commitment to the well-being of Pakistan’s defenders.
