The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Tuesday that the moon of Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH was not sighted anywhere across the country.
Following the announcement, it has been confirmed that the first of Rabi’ al-Thani will fall on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
The committee made its decision after receiving reports from zonal offices nationwide. Religious scholars and experts reviewed weather conditions and testimonies but concluded that the crescent could not be sighted.
With this declaration, the Islamic calendar advances into its fourth month, Rabi’ al-Thani, also known as Rabi’ al-Akhir.
