Hyderabad’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested two alleged members of the banned terrorist organization Fitna-e-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation.

The arrests were made in the Qasimabad area, where officials recovered a substantial amount of funds reportedly intended for terror financing.

CTD authorities also seized key documents and receipt books linking the suspects to Fitna-e-Hindustan, providing significant evidence of their affiliation with the group.

According to officials, the arrested individuals were also involved in an April 2025 attack on a CTD mobile unit in Luni Kot, Jam Shoro. The operation led by CTD Hyderabad has disrupted potential terror activities in the region and highlights the department’s ongoing efforts to curb militancy.

Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are working to trace further connections and the source of terror funding.
